- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup shredded cheese (feta or mozzarella)
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh herbs (rosemary, thyme, or oregano)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the baking powder, salt, black pepper, and flour.
- Stir in the shredded cheese and chopped herbs.
- In another bowl, mix together the olive oil and milk.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
Customize the herbs and cheese to your liking. Add sun-dried tomatoes or olives for extra flavor.
