Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (feta or mozzarella)
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh herbs (rosemary, thyme, or oregano)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the baking powder, salt, black pepper, and flour.
  3. Stir in the shredded cheese and chopped herbs.
  4. In another bowl, mix together the olive oil and milk.
  5. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Let cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
