- 1 head cabbage, sliced into thick steaks (about 1-inch thick)
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp vegan creamy sauce (cashew cream, tahini dressing, or vegan ranch)
- 1 cup vegan shredded cheese (or regular cheese like mozzarella or parmesan)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Brush both sides of the cabbage steaks with olive oil and place them on a baking sheet.
- Bake for about 25-30 minutes, flipping once halfway through, until golden and tender.
- Remove from the oven and drizzle the vegan creamy sauce over the cabbage steaks.
- Sprinkle the vegan shredded cheese on top.
- Return to the oven and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Serve warm.
Notes
Use fresh cabbage for the best flavor and texture. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven to preserve the texture of the cheese.
