Description

A delightful cookie with a crispy outer layer and a warm, melted chocolate center.


Ingredients

  • 135 g of softened salted butter
  • 100 g of brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg
  • 270 g of flour
  • 5 g of baking soda
  • 180 g of chocolate chips
  • A pinch of fleur de sel
  • 3 tablespoons of spreadable chocolate

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the softened butter and brown sugar until creamy.
  3. Add the vanilla extract and egg, and mix well.
  4. Sift the flour and baking soda, then gradually add them to the mixture.
  5. Incorporate the chocolate chips and fleur de sel, mixing until a homogeneous dough forms.
  6. Divide the dough into two equal parts.
  7. Spread the first half of the dough in the bottom of the dish, ensuring complete coverage.
  8. Evenly spread the chocolate spread on this base, avoiding the edges.
  9. Cover with the second half of the dough, sealing the edges to enclose the filling.
  10. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until the cookie is golden brown on the outside but still soft on the inside.
  11. Allow to cool slightly before removing from the mold and enjoying.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. Freeze for longer storage.
