Ingredients

- 135 g of softened salted butter
- 100 g of brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1 large egg
- 270 g of flour
- 5 g of baking soda
- 180 g of chocolate chips
- A pinch of fleur de sel
- 3 tablespoons of spreadable chocolate
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking dish with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mix the softened butter and brown sugar until creamy.
- Add the vanilla extract and egg, and mix well.
- Sift the flour and baking soda, then gradually add them to the mixture.
- Incorporate the chocolate chips and fleur de sel, mixing until a homogeneous dough forms.
- Divide the dough into two equal parts.
- Spread the first half of the dough in the bottom of the dish, ensuring complete coverage.
- Evenly spread the chocolate spread on this base, avoiding the edges.
- Cover with the second half of the dough, sealing the edges to enclose the filling.
- Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until the cookie is golden brown on the outside but still soft on the inside.
- Allow to cool slightly before removing from the mold and enjoying.
Notes
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. Freeze for longer storage.
