Description

Delightful cookies filled with sweet marmalade for a burst of flavor in every bite.


Ingredients

  • 125 g margarine or butter (room temperature)
  • 1.5 cups flour
  • 1 package vanilla
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • Marmalade (for filling)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together the margarine or butter and powdered sugar until smooth.
  3. Add in the vanilla and mix well.
  4. In another bowl, combine flour and baking powder.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, mixing until a dough forms.
  6. Roll the dough into small balls and place them on a baking sheet.
  7. Make an indentation in the center of each cookie and fill with marmalade.
  8. Bake for about 12-15 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
  9. Let cool before serving.

Notes

Best served with powdered sugar dusting and pairs wonderfully with tea or coffee. Store in an airtight container at room temperature.
