- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 cup softened butter

- 1 cup maraschino cherries, halved and dried
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, beat the softened butter with the white sugar and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Mix in the eggs and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Stir in the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt until the dough comes together.
- Fold in the chocolate chips and halved maraschino cherries gently.
- Drop scoops of the cookie dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden.
- Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool before enjoying.
