A delightful twist on the classic Italian dessert, combining rich chocolate and mascarpone flavors with refreshing tangerines.
Ingredients

- 500 grams of mascarpone
- 4 eggs
- 100 grams of sugar
- Cookies with the Spoon (like ladyfingers)
- 200 ml of strong coffee (chilled)
- 50 ml orange liqueur (optional)
- Cocoa powder
- 4–5 tangerines, peeled and in segments
- Grated dark chocolate
- Mint leaves (for decoration)
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together the egg yolks and sugar until creamy.
- Add the mascarpone cheese and mix until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form, then gently fold them into the mascarpone mixture.
- Dip the cookies in the chilled coffee mixed with orange liqueur if using, then layer them in a dish.
- Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the cookies.
- Add a layer of tangerine segments on top.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining cookies, mascarpone mixture, and tangerine segments.
- Dust the top with cocoa powder and sprinkle grated dark chocolate over it.
- Refrigerate for at least 240 minutes before serving.
- Garnish with mint leaves before serving.
Notes
Use fresh tangerines for the best taste. Make sure the coffee is chilled before dipping the cookies.
