- 1 (14-ounce) can Sweetened Condensed Milk
- 1.5 cups Cold Water
- 1 (3.4-ounce) pkg. Instant Vanilla Pudding (JELLO Brand)
- 2 cups Heavy Cream
- 1 (11-ounce) box Nilla Wafers
- 6 to 8 large Fresh Peaches (peeled and sliced)
- 1/4 cup Sugar
- 3 tablespoons Brown Sugar
- 2 teaspoons Fresh Lemon Juice
- 2 teaspoons Cornstarch
- 4 tablespoons Butter
- 3 tablespoons Sugar
- 3 tablespoons Brown Sugar
- 1/2 cup Flour
- 1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon
Instructions
- Prepare the pudding by whisking together sweetened condensed milk and cold water until combined. Add instant vanilla pudding and mix until smooth. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or until firm.
- Make the peach filling by heating a skillet over medium heat. Add peaches, sugar, brown sugar, and lemon juice, cooking for 2 minutes until sugar dissolves. Stir in cornstarch and cook for an additional 5 minutes until thickened. Remove from heat and let cool.
- Prepare the crumble topping by mixing together butter, sugar, brown sugar, flour, and cinnamon until a crumble forms. Heat the flour in microwave until warm for better mixing.
- Whip the heavy cream in a stand mixer until stiff peaks form, then gently fold in the chilled pudding mixture until combined.
- Assemble the dessert in a trifle bowl or individual glasses with layers of pudding mixture, Nilla wafers, peach filling, and crumble topping. Repeat layers as desired and garnish with whipped cream and crumble.
- Chill the assembled dessert for 4-6 hours before serving to allow flavors to meld.
Notes
Use ripe, fresh peaches for the best flavor; if out of season, canned peaches can be used. Prepare the peach filling ahead of time for easier assembly.
