Description

A visually stunning dessert with three layers of smooth chocolate mousse made from dark, milk, and white chocolate. Perfect for special occasions or satisfying chocolate cravings.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup chocolate cookie crumbs
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup dark chocolate, chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream, divided
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 cup milk chocolate, chopped
  • 1 cup white chocolate, chopped
  • Chocolate shavings
  • Cocoa powder

Instructions

  1. Mix the chocolate cookie crumbs with melted butter until combined. Press into the bottom of a springform pan and refrigerate.
  2. Melt the dark chocolate and let it cool slightly. Whip 1/2 cup heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Heat the other 1/2 cup of cream with sugar. Mix melted chocolate with warm cream mixture and fold in whipped cream. Spread over the chilled base and refrigerate.
  3. Repeat the process with milk chocolate and 1 cup heavy cream for the second layer, refrigerate.
  4. Repeat the process with white chocolate and 1 cup heavy cream for the final layer. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to set.
  5. Dust the top with cocoa powder and add chocolate shavings for decoration before serving.

Use high-quality chocolate for the best flavor and make sure to chill each layer before adding the next.
