- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup butter
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 cup pistachio paste
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup pistachio ganache
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup chopped pistachios
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease two cake pans.
- In a bowl, mix the flour, cocoa powder, and baking powder.
- In another bowl, cream the butter and sugar together. Then, add the eggs one at a time, mixing well.
- Slowly alternate adding the dry ingredients and the milk to the butter-sugar mixture. Mix until everything is well combined.
- Divide the batter evenly between the two cake pans. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let the cakes cool in the pans.
- Mix the pistachio paste with whipped heavy cream and spread it between the cooled layers of cake.
- Pour the pistachio ganache over the top of the cake and sprinkle with chopped pistachios.
- Refrigerate the cake for 1 hour before serving to let it set.

Ensure all ingredients are at room temperature and do not over-mix the batter for a fluffy cake.
