- 200g chocolate cookie crumbs
- 100g unsalted butter
- 500g cream cheese
- 150g sugar
- 2 eggs
- 200ml heavy cream
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 100g dark chocolate
- Cocoa powder for dusting
- Chocolate sauce for drizzling
Instructions
- Mix the chocolate cookie crumbs with melted butter and press into a springform pan to form the crust.
- Bake the crust at 180°C for 10 minutes and let it cool.
- In a bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar together until smooth.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then mix in the heavy cream and vanilla extract.
- Melt the dark chocolate and blend it into half of the cream cheese mixture.
- Pour the chocolate mixture over the cooled crust and add the vanilla mixture on top.
- Bake at 160°C for about 50 minutes.
- Let it cool and refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
- Before serving, drizzle with chocolate sauce and dust with cocoa powder.
Notes
Ensure all ingredients are at room temperature for best results. Do not overmix after adding eggs. Cool completely before refrigerating.
