- 200g dark chocolate
- 150g butter
- 4 eggs
- 150g sugar
- 100g flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 200ml strawberry cream
- 100g fresh strawberries
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 180°C and grease a cake tin.
- Melt the dark chocolate and butter together, then let it cool slightly.
- In a bowl, beat the eggs and sugar until they are light and fluffy. Mix in the cooled chocolate mixture.
- Gently fold in the flour and baking powder until everything is well combined. Pour the mixture into the prepared tin.
- Bake the cake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Once done, let it cool.
- Once cooled, spread the strawberry cream between the layers of cake.
- Top the cake with fresh strawberries and dust with powdered sugar for a sweet finish.
- Chill the cake for 1 hour before serving to enhance its flavors.

Use high-quality dark chocolate for a richer flavor. Adjust the sugar to taste. Make sure to let the melted chocolate cool before mixing with the eggs.
