Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (divided)
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate, melted for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×13-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
  3. Add eggs and vanilla extract, then pumpkin puree, and mix well.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and salt.
  5. Combine the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just mixed, then fold in 1/2 cup chocolate chips.
  6. Pour the batter into the baking dish and sprinkle the remaining chocolate chips on top.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes.
  8. Allow to cool and drizzle melted dark chocolate over the top.
  9. Lift out using parchment paper, cut into squares, and enjoy!

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for 3-4 days or refrigerate for up to a week. Freeze wrapped in plastic wrap for up to three months.
