- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 cup pumpkin puree
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (divided)
- 1/2 cup dark chocolate, melted for topping
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×13-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mix the melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
- Add eggs and vanilla extract, then pumpkin puree, and mix well.
- In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and salt.
- Combine the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just mixed, then fold in 1/2 cup chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the baking dish and sprinkle the remaining chocolate chips on top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes.
- Allow to cool and drizzle melted dark chocolate over the top.
- Lift out using parchment paper, cut into squares, and enjoy!
Notes
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for 3-4 days or refrigerate for up to a week. Freeze wrapped in plastic wrap for up to three months.
