Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease two 9-inch cake pans.
- In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Add eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla, then beat until combined.
- Stir in boiling water until the batter is smooth.
- Divide batter between pans and bake for 30-35 minutes.
- Let cakes cool completely.
- Whip heavy cream and fold into chocolate ganache.
- Spread ganache between layers and over the top, letting it drip down the sides.
- Chill for 1 hour before serving.
