Ingredients

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, beat the eggs and sugar together until fluffy.
  3. Slowly mix in the flour, cocoa powder, melted butter, and baking powder until well combined.
  4. Spread the batter evenly on a lined baking sheet and bake for 10–12 minutes.
  5. Once baked, carefully roll the warm cake with a clean towel and let it cool for a few minutes.
  6. Unroll the cake and spread a generous layer of caramel sauce over the surface.
  7. Sprinkle chocolate chips and chopped pecans on top.
  8. Re-roll the cake gently and chill it in the refrigerator for about 2 hours.
  9. Before serving, drizzle more caramel sauce over the top.

Notes

For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate chips. Store any leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days.
