- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 cup caramel sauce
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, beat the eggs and sugar together until fluffy.
- Slowly mix in the flour, cocoa powder, melted butter, and baking powder until well combined.
- Spread the batter evenly on a lined baking sheet and bake for 10–12 minutes.
- Once baked, carefully roll the warm cake with a clean towel and let it cool for a few minutes.
- Unroll the cake and spread a generous layer of caramel sauce over the surface.
- Sprinkle chocolate chips and chopped pecans on top.
- Re-roll the cake gently and chill it in the refrigerator for about 2 hours.
- Before serving, drizzle more caramel sauce over the top.
Notes
For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate chips. Store any leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days.
