Ingredients

  • 1 medium russet potato, diced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 lb ground beef
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar or melty cheese
  • 1/2 cup chopped romaine or iceberg lettuce
  • 1/4 cup diced tomato
  • 1/4 cup sliced pickles
  • Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)
  • 2 tbsp mayo
  • 1 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • 1 tsp relish or chopped pickles
  • 1/4 tsp paprika

Instructions

  1. Toss diced potatoes in olive oil, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Roast at 425°F for 25–30 minutes until golden and crispy.
  2. In a skillet, cook ground beef with garlic powder, salt, and pepper until browned. Drain the excess fat.
  3. Mix all sauce ingredients together in a small bowl. Chill until you’re ready to serve.
  4. Start with a layer of lettuce, add the roasted potatoes, seasoned beef, diced tomato, and pickles. Drizzle with cheese and the special sauce. Top with sesame seeds if desired.
  5. Serve immediately and enjoy!
