- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tbsp lemon zest
- 1/3 cup lemon juice
- 1/2 cup Limoncello liqueur
- 2 cups Mascarpone cheese
- 3 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/4 cup Limoncello liqueur
- 1/2 cup lemon curd
- 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
- 1/3 cup powdered sugar
- 26 ladyfinger cookies
- 1 cup lemon curd
Instructions
- Make the Limoncello Syrup: In a small pan, combine sugar, lemon zest, and lemon juice. Bring to a boil, then turn off the heat and stir in the Limoncello liqueur. Let it cool.
- Prepare the Limoncello Mascarpone: Beat the Mascarpone with lemon zest, lemon juice, and Limoncello until creamy. Add lemon curd and mix well. In another bowl, whip heavy cream with powdered sugar until stiff peaks form, then gently fold it into the mascarpone mixture.
- Assemble the Tiramisu: Dip ladyfingers in the Limoncello syrup and layer them in a pan. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers, then add a layer of lemon curd. Repeat the layers again. Chill for at least 4 hours before serving.
Notes
Serve chilled with additional lemon zest or whipped cream. Best enjoyed within the first two days of making.
