Description

A delightful twist on classic Tiramisu with bright lemon flavor, creamy texture, and invigorating coffee.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup Limoncello liqueur
  • 1 cup strong brewed coffee, cooled
  • 24 ladyfinger cookies
  • Zest of 2 lemons
  • Lemon slices for garnish
  • Fresh mint for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form. Add the mascarpone cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth and well combined.
  2. Pour the Limoncello into a shallow dish. Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the coffee and then into the Limoncello, making sure not to soak them too long.
  3. In a 9×9 inch dish, arrange a layer of dipped ladyfingers on the bottom.
  4. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers. Sprinkle half of the lemon zest on top.
  5. Repeat with another layer of dipped ladyfingers, mascarpone mixture, and lemon zest.
  6. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, allowing the flavors to meld together.
  7. Before serving, garnish with lemon slices and fresh mint.

Notes

Best enjoyed within the first couple of days for optimal taste and texture.
