Description

A delightful dessert combining creamy mascarpone cheese and zesty lemon, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 200 g of mascarpone
  • 150 g of sugar
  • 100 g of butter
  • Juice and zest of 2 lemons
  • A pinch of salt
  • 3 eggs
  • 150 g of flour
  • 1 bag of chemical yeast

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease a cake pan.
  2. In a bowl, combine the mascarpone, sugar, and butter until smooth.
  3. Add the lemon juice, lemon zest, and a pinch of salt, mixing well.
  4. Beat in the eggs one at a time.
  5. Sift in the flour and baking powder, folding gently until just combined.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a skewer comes out clean.
  7. Allow to cool before serving.

Notes

Serve warm or at room temperature with a dusting of powdered sugar. Can be paired with berries or whipped cream.
