A comforting dish combining tender chicken with creamy bowtie pasta, infused with rich flavors of lemon and garlic.

- 2 large chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Zest of 1 lemon
- 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
- 8 oz bowtie pasta (farfalle)
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook the chicken for 6-7 minutes per side, or until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add heavy cream, chicken broth, lemon juice, zest, and Italian seasoning. Stir well and bring to a simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- Meanwhile, cook the bowtie pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Slice the cooked chicken and add it back into the skillet.
- Add the pasta to the skillet and toss everything together. Stir in Parmesan cheese until everything is well coated.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 2-3 days. Reheat on stovetop or microwave.
