  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/3 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice (about 2 lemons)
  • 2 tbsp honey (optional)
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • Lemon slices (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Toss the chicken pieces with flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until coated.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat; add chicken in a single layer and cook 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic for 1 minute. Stir in chicken broth, lemon juice, honey, and lemon zest; let simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Return the chicken to the skillet, toss to coat in the sauce, and simmer for 1-2 minutes.
  5. Sprinkle with parsley and serve immediately, garnished with lemon slices if desired.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in lemon juice and garlic for a few hours before cooking. Adjust garlic or lemon juice based on your taste preferences.
