Description

A delightful, layered dessert combining crunchy petit beurre biscuits with creamy whipped cream and rich chocolate flavors.


Ingredients

  • 1 pack of petit beurre biscuits
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 2 tablespoons of sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon of butter
  • 1 cup of whipped cream
  • 1/2 cup of grated coconut
  • Chocolate sauce for topping

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, heat the milk, sugar, cocoa powder, and butter over medium heat.
  2. Stir the mixture until the sugar dissolves and it thickens slightly. Remove it from heat and let it cool.
  3. Dip each petit beurre biscuit into the cooled milk mixture one at a time.
  4. Arrange a layer of dipped biscuits on a serving plate.
  5. Spread a layer of whipped cream on top of the biscuits.
  6. Repeat the layering process with the remaining dipped biscuits and whipped cream.
  7. Once all the biscuits are used, top the dessert with chocolate sauce and sprinkle with grated coconut.
  8. Chill the dessert in the refrigerator for at least 120 minutes before serving.

Notes

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Best enjoyed within the first couple of days to keep the biscuits crisp.
