Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • Green onions, chopped (for garnish)
  • Brioche buns

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, cook the ground beef and onions until browned. Add the minced garlic and grated ginger.
  2. Stir in soy sauce, gochujang, brown sugar, vinegar, and sesame oil. Let it simmer for 5–7 minutes until thickened.
  3. Lightly toast the brioche buns for a soft yet crispy bite.
  4. Spoon the Korean beef mixture onto the buns and top with chopped green onions.
  5. Enjoy warm with a side of pickled veggies or fries!

Notes

For a healthier option, use lean ground beef. Adjust the gochujang to control spice levels. You can add veggies like bell peppers or carrots for extra nutrition.
