Description

A delightful festive dessert combining chocolate and hazelnut flavors, perfect for holiday gatherings.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 eggs
  • 100 g sugar
  • 100 g flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 200 g Kinder Bueno chocolate
  • 400 ml full-fat liquid cream
  • 50 g icing sugar
  • Kinder Bueno bars (for decoration)
  • Melted chocolate (for covering)
  • Crushed hazelnuts (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a rectangular baking mold with baking paper.
  2. Whisk the eggs and sugar until the mixture whitens and doubles in volume. Add sifted flour and baking powder, then gently mix.
  3. Pour the mixture into the mold and bake for 10-12 minutes. Let it cool.
  4. Melt the Kinder Bueno chocolate in a bain-marie.
  5. Whip the cream with icing sugar until stiff peaks form, then fold in the melted chocolate.
  6. Spread the cream on the cooled sponge cake and roll it into a log shape.
  7. Cover with melted chocolate and garnish with pieces of Kinder Bueno and crushed hazelnuts.
  8. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
