Description

Ingredients

  • 1 and 1/2 cups wheat flour
  • 1/3 cup cold butter
  • 2 egg yolks
  • Butter for greasing
  • 1 can condensed milk
  • 2 cups milk
  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 5 green apples, sliced

Instructions

  1. Mix the dough ingredients—wheat flour, cold butter, and egg yolks—until you get a smooth mixture.
  2. Roll out the dough and carefully line a greased removable bottom pan with it.
  3. Bake the dough in a preheated oven for 25 minutes until it’s golden brown.
  4. In a separate pan, combine the condensed milk, regular milk, and cornstarch. Cook over low heat while stirring until the mixture thickens.
  5. Add the cream mixture to the baked dough.
  6. Arrange the sliced apples on top and let it cool for 2 hours.

Notes

Serve warm or at room temperature. Add a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a sprinkle of cinnamon for extra flavor.
