Ingredients

  • 500g plain flour
  • 50g sugar
  • 7g dry yeast
  • 250ml warm milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 50g butter (melted)
  • Pinch of salt
  • Oil for frying
  • 200g chocolate (for glaze)
  • Sprinkles or icing sugar (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Mix flour, sugar, yeast, and salt in a large bowl.
  2. Add warm milk and eggs to the dry ingredients.
  3. Knead in the melted butter until the dough is smooth. Let it rise for 1 hour.
  4. Roll out the dough and cut it into rings. Let the donuts rise for another 30 minutes.
  5. Fry the donuts in hot oil until they turn golden brown. Drain them on paper towels.
  6. Melt the chocolate and dip the warm donuts in it. Add sprinkles or sprinkle icing sugar on top.
  7. Serve and enjoy fresh!
