A rich, moist chocolate cake that every chocolate lover dreams of, topped with a smooth chocolate ganache and decorated with chocolate bars and truffles.

- 200g dark chocolate
- 150g butter
- 4 eggs
- 150g sugar
- 100g flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 100ml cream
- Various chocolate bars and truffles for decoration
- Chocolate chips for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 180°C and grease a cake tin.
- Melt the dark chocolate and butter together in a bowl, then let it cool.
- In another bowl, beat the eggs and sugar until fluffy, then mix in the cooled chocolate mixture.
- Sift the flour and baking powder together, and gently fold it into the batter.
- Pour the batter into the prepared tin and bake for 25-30 minutes.
- Once baked, let the cake cool. In the meantime, prepare the ganache by heating the cream and pouring it over chopped chocolate.
- Stir until smooth, then spread the ganache over the cake, allowing it to drip down the sides.
- Decorate the cake with broken chocolate bars, truffles, and chocolate chips.
- Chill the cake for 1 hour before serving.
Notes
Make sure ingredients are at room temperature and do not overmix the batter for best results.
