Description
A crowd-pleasing dessert that combines rich chocolate and creamy cheesecake with the beloved Oreo cookie.

- 24 Oreo cookies, crushed
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 16 oz cream cheese, softened
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 8 oz dark chocolate, melted
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup chocolate ganache for drizzle
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C) and grease a 9-inch springform pan.
- In a bowl, mix the crushed Oreos with the melted butter. Press this mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan.
- In another bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Then, add the vanilla extract and sour cream.
- Gently fold in the melted chocolate. Pour this cheesecake mixture over the prepared crust.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes or until the center is set. Let it cool completely at room temperature.
- Whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form and spread it over the cooled cheesecake.
- Drizzle the top with chocolate ganache and refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
- Once chilled, slice and serve!
Notes
For a different twist, try using white chocolate instead of dark chocolate or experiment with different flavors of Oreos.
