- 24 Oreo cookies, crushed
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 16 oz cream cheese, softened
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 8 oz dark chocolate, melted
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup chocolate ganache for drizzle
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C), and grease a 9-inch springform pan.
- Mix the crushed Oreos with melted butter and press firmly into the bottom of the pan.
- Beat the cream cheese and sugar together until smooth.
- Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition, then stir in vanilla extract and sour cream.
- Fold in the melted chocolate until blended, then pour over the crust in the pan.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes. Allow to cool completely before removing from the pan.
- Whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form, then spread over the cooled cheesecake.
- Drizzle with chocolate ganache and refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
- Slice and enjoy!
Notes
For a firmer cheesecake, bake a bit longer. Use high-quality chocolate for the best flavor.
