- 150g dark chocolate
- 100g unsalted butter
- 100g sugar
- 2 eggs
- 50g flour
- 200ml heavy cream
- 100g cream cheese
- 50g cocoa powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
- 50g ganache (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C and line a baking pan.
- Melt the dark chocolate and unsalted butter together, then let it cool.
- In a bowl, mix the sugar and eggs together, then add the melted chocolate mixture.
- Stir in the flour, cocoa powder, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt until fully combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and bake for 20 minutes.
- Let the brownie cool completely after baking.
- In another bowl, whip the heavy cream and cream cheese together until it’s smooth.
- Spread the delicious mousse over the cooled brownie layer.
- Pour the prepared ganache over the mousse and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
- Slice the dessert, and garnish with crumbs before serving.
Notes
Make sure to let your brownie cool completely before adding the mousse. Use high-quality dark chocolate for the best flavor. Don’t skip the ganache topping—it adds a lovely finish to the dessert.
