Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 cups apples, peeled and chopped
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup caramel sauce
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease a loaf pan.
- In a bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream together the sugar and softened butter. Then add the eggs and vanilla extract.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with the milk.
- Fold in the chopped apples and pour the batter into the greased pan.
- Sprinkle the brown sugar on top and bake for 60 minutes.
- After the bread is cool, drizzle it with caramel sauce.
Notes
Serve warm with butter or vanilla ice cream. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for 3-4 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
