A delightful dessert that combines cake and ice cream for a perfect treat on warm days.
Ingredients

- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 2 cups of your favorite ice cream, softened
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips or chopped nuts (optional)
- 1/4 cup caramel or chocolate syrup (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease and line a loaf pan with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, then add the vanilla.
- Gradually mix in the dry ingredients alternately with milk until smooth.
- Pour the cake batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool completely.
- Soften the ice cream at room temperature for 5-10 minutes and mix in chocolate chips or nuts if desired.
- Slice the cooled cake into layers, spread ice cream in between layers, and drizzle with syrup on top if using.
- Cover with plastic wrap and freeze for at least 4 hours until firm.

Notes
For best results, use softened butter and your favorite ice cream flavor. Store in the freezer for freshness.
