Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips (optional)
  • 1/4 cup ground flaxseed (optional)
  • A pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, peanut butter, and honey (or maple syrup).
  2. Mix well until you get a sticky dough. If you want, add in the chocolate chips and ground flaxseed.
  3. Use your hands to form small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
  4. Place the energy balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Chill in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to firm up.
