- 4 cups cooked white beans (or 2 cans, drained and rinsed)
- 1/2 cup hot honey (or regular honey + 1 tsp hot sauce)
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 2 tbsp yellow mustard
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 6 slices bacon, cooked and chopped
- Salt & black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, mix the hot honey, brown sugar, ketchup, mustard, vinegar, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Add the cooked white beans to the mixture and stir until they are fully coated.
- Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish.
- Evenly top the beans with the chopped bacon.
- Bake uncovered for 45–50 minutes, until bubbly and slightly caramelized at the edges.
- Stir gently before serving.
Notes
For added texture, use different types of beans or omit the bacon for a vegetarian version.
