Description

A delightful dessert that combines the richness of chocolate with a fudgy, gooey center and a slightly crispy top. Perfect for chocolate lovers!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 stick butter, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together the softened butter and sugar using an electric mixer until fluffy, about 3 minutes.
  3. Mix in the eggs and vanilla extract by hand, ensuring everything is well combined.
  4. Stir in the cocoa powder, salt, and flour until fully incorporated.
  5. Grease an 8-inch pie pan with butter or cooking spray, then pour the batter into the pan.
  6. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until the center is set but still soft.
  7. Let the pie cool slightly before serving, and enjoy warm, possibly with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top!

Notes

Best served warm right out of the oven with ice cream or whipped cream. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days.
