Description

A delightful dessert combining rich chocolate flavors with a gooey center and crispy edges, perfect for chocolate lovers.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch pie pan or baking dish.
  2. In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the melted butter, sugar, and cocoa powder until smooth. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  3. Gently fold in the flour and salt until just combined.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared pie pan and smooth the top with a spatula. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the edges are set and the center is slightly gooey.
  5. Let the pie cool for about 10 minutes. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, or extra hot fudge.

Notes

Serve warm for the best experience. A scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream on top elevates the dessert. Also, it’s delicious with a drizzle of extra hot fudge.
