- 1 1/2 pounds large raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 4 tablespoons olive oil, divided
- 1/2 cup walnuts
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon sweetened condensed milk
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions
- In a large bowl, toss the shrimp with cornstarch and salt until well coated.
- Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Fry the shrimp until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, add the remaining olive oil and the walnuts. Cook until the walnuts are toasted.
- In a separate bowl, mix honey, mayonnaise, condensed milk, and lemon juice until smooth.
- Combine the fried shrimp with the honey sauce and walnuts, tossing to coat.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
Serve warm with steamed rice or noodles. Garnish with fresh parsley or extra walnuts.
