Ingredients
Scale
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast
- 1 cup warm water
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1/2 cup pizza sauce
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- Toppings of your choice (pepperoni, mushrooms, bell peppers, onions, sausage, etc.)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until it becomes foamy.

- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it, and let it rise in a warm place until it doubles in size (about 1 hour).
- Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). If you have a pizza stone, heat it as well.
- Once the dough has risen, punch it down and roll it out to your desired thickness.
- Transfer the rolled dough to a baking sheet or pizza peel.
- Spread the pizza sauce over the dough, sprinkle with cheese, and add your favorite toppings.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
- Let the pizza cool for a few minutes before slicing. Enjoy!
