- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup whole milk
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup heavy cream (for fudge swirl)
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 cup mini peanut butter cups, chopped
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, whole milk, sugar, vanilla extract, and salt until the sugar dissolves. Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn for 20-25 minutes.
- For the fudge swirl, combine chocolate chips, heavy cream, and butter in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring until smooth. Let it cool slightly.
- Once the ice cream has churned, transfer it to a bowl. Fold in chopped peanut butter cups and drizzle the fudge swirl over the top, swirling it gently.
- Cover the mixture and freeze for at least 240 minutes until it is firm.
- Serve scoops of ice cream in bowls or cones and enjoy!
Notes
Use high-quality chocolate chips for a richer flavor. You can also mix in other candies or nuts for a unique twist.
