Description

A delightful homemade ice cream filled with chocolate and peanut butter goodness, perfect for summer days.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 gallon half-and-half
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup peanut butter cups, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together half-and-half, sugar, corn syrup, vanilla extract, and salt until the sugar is dissolved.
  2. Stir in the chocolate chips and chopped peanut butter cups.
  3. Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
  4. Once the ice cream reaches a soft-serve consistency, transfer it to a lidded container and freeze for at least 240 minutes or until firm.
  5. Serve and enjoy your homemade moose tracks ice cream!

Notes

Make sure your ice cream maker is very cold before churning. Don’t over-mix the chocolate chips and peanut butter cups for nice chunks in the ice cream.
