Description

A delightful treat combining creamy vanilla ice cream, chocolate, and crunchy peanut butter cups, perfect for hot summer days.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 gallon half-and-half
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup peanut butter cups, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together half-and-half, sugar, corn syrup, vanilla extract, and salt until the sugar is fully dissolved.
  2. Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
  3. When the ice cream is nearly frozen, add the semisweet chocolate chips and chopped peanut butter cups.
  4. Continue churning until the ice cream is completely frozen and the mix-ins are evenly distributed.
  5. Transfer the ice cream to an airtight container and freeze for at least 4 hours to firm up.
  6. Scoop into bowls or cones and enjoy!

Notes

For a smoother texture, ensure the sugar is completely dissolved in the ice cream base. Adjust the mix-ins to your preference.
