Instructions
- Prepare the Fruit: Peel and dice the fresh dragonfruit. Hull and quarter the strawberries. Blend both fruits with lemon juice until smooth.
- Mix the Ice Cream Base: In a bowl, combine the heavy cream, milk, sugar, and vanilla. Stir until the sugar dissolves completely.
- Combine Fruit and Cream: Gently mix the pureed fruit into the cream mixture until they are fully blended.
- Chill the Mixture: Place the bowl in the refrigerator for at least 120 minutes to cool.
- Churn the Ice Cream: Pour the chilled mixture into an ice cream maker and churn for about 20-25 minutes, or until it reaches a soft-serve consistency.
- Freeze and Serve: Transfer the ice cream to a container. Freeze for 180-240 minutes until it is firm. Serve with fresh fruit if desired.
