- 1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced against the grain
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- Lo mein noodles
- Vegetables (e.g., bell peppers, carrots, broccoli)
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- Optional: green onions and sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- Toss the sliced flank steak with 2 tbsp soy sauce and cornstarch. Allow to marinate for 15 minutes.
- Cook lo mein noodles according to package instructions, then drain.
- In a large pan or wok, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add minced garlic and stir-fry for 30 seconds.
- Add the marinated beef and cook until browned.
- Add your choice of vegetables and stir-fry for a few minutes until they are tender-crisp.
- Pour in 1/4 cup soy sauce and beef broth, bringing to a simmer.
- Add cooked lo mein noodles to the pan and toss everything together to combine.
- Serve hot, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds if desired.
