Description

A delightful baked treat combining cinnamon and sweet apples in a soft, fluffy loaf. Perfect for breakfast, dessert, or a cozy snack.


Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup milk
  • Apple filling (chopped apples with cinnamon and sugar)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream together the sugar and butter until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in the eggs, then stir in the vanilla and milk.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mix until just combined.
  6. Prepare the apple filling by mixing chopped apples with cinnamon and sugar.
  7. Pour half of the batter into the loaf pan, then layer the apple filling, and finish with the remaining batter.
  8. Bake for 50-60 minutes until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  9. Allow to cool before slicing.

Notes

Serve warm or toasted with butter. Can be sprinkled with powdered sugar for presentation.
