- 2 cups crushed Oreo cookies
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 3 packages (225 g each) cream cheese, at room temperature
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
- 3 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup heavy cream for topping
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips for topping
- 1/4 cup butter for topping
- 1/2 cup Oreo crumbles for garnish
- 1/2 cup chocolate shavings for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine crushed Oreo cookies and melted butter. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a springform pan to form the crust. Bake for 10 minutes, then remove and let cool.
- In another bowl, beat the cream cheese with sugar until smooth and creamy. Add the heavy cream, cocoa powder, and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
- Gently fold in the semi-sweet and white chocolate chips. Then add the eggs one by one, mixing until just incorporated.
- Pour the cheesecake filling over the cooled crust and smooth the top. Bake for 55-60 minutes until set but slightly jiggles in the center. Allow it to cool at room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- For the chocolate fudge topping, heat the heavy cream in a saucepan until just boiling. Remove from heat and stir in the semi-sweet chocolate chips and butter until smooth and shiny. Let cool slightly.
- Pour the fudge topping over the chilled cheesecake, spreading evenly. Garnish with Oreo crumbles and chocolate shavings.
- Slice and serve this decadent cheesecake to your guests.
