Ingredients

  • 2 cups crushed Oreo cookies
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 3 packages (225 g each) cream cheese, at room temperature
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy cream for topping
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips for topping
  • 1/4 cup butter for topping
  • 1/2 cup Oreo crumbles for garnish
  • 1/2 cup chocolate shavings for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine crushed Oreo cookies and melted butter. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a springform pan to form the crust. Bake for 10 minutes, then remove and let cool.
  3. In another bowl, beat the cream cheese with sugar until smooth and creamy. Add the heavy cream, cocoa powder, and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  4. Gently fold in the semi-sweet and white chocolate chips. Then add the eggs one by one, mixing until just incorporated.
  5. Pour the cheesecake filling over the cooled crust and smooth the top. Bake for 55-60 minutes until set but slightly jiggles in the center. Allow it to cool at room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  6. For the chocolate fudge topping, heat the heavy cream in a saucepan until just boiling. Remove from heat and stir in the semi-sweet chocolate chips and butter until smooth and shiny. Let cool slightly.
  7. Pour the fudge topping over the chilled cheesecake, spreading evenly. Garnish with Oreo crumbles and chocolate shavings.
  8. Slice and serve this decadent cheesecake to your guests.
