Instructions
- In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- In another bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
- Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until combined.
- In a trifle dish or individual cups, layer the chocolate cake, chocolate pudding, and cream cheese mixture.
- Repeat the layers until the dish is full.
- Finish with a layer of cream cheese mixture and top with chocolate shavings or cocoa powder.
- Refrigerate for at least 120 minutes before serving.
