- Chocolate truffles or chocolate balls (for garnish)
- Chocolate shavings (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy. Gently fold in half of the whipped topping.
- In a trifle dish, layer the crumbled chocolate cake at the bottom, followed by the cream cheese mixture, chocolate pudding, and drizzle with chocolate sauce.
- Repeat layering until the dish is filled, finishing with whipped topping.
- Garnish with chocolate truffles and chocolate shavings.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 60 minutes before serving.
Notes
Make sure the cream cheese is softened for a smoother texture. Chill for at least one hour to meld flavors. Can be made a day ahead.
