- 1 box fudge brownie mix
- 2 bags mini Reese’s peanut butter cups, halved
- 4 cups cold 2% milk
- 2 boxes instant vanilla pudding mix
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 4 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cans (8 oz each) Cool Whip, thawed
Instructions
- Prepare the brownie mix according to package instructions in a greased 9×13 inch pan. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20-25 minutes, then let cool. Cut the brownies into ¾-inch pieces and set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk the instant vanilla pudding mix with cold milk for 2 minutes until thick. Add peanut butter and vanilla extract, stirring until smooth, then fold in 1 ½ cups of Cool Whip.
- In a large glass dish or trifle bowl, layer one-third of the brownie pieces, half of the halved peanut butter cups, and one-third of the pudding mixture.
- Add another layer of brownies, the remaining peanut butter cups, and the rest of the pudding mixture. Top with the leftover Cool Whip.
- Garnish with extra peanut butter cup pieces and chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving.
Notes
For a richer taste, use a high-quality brownie mix. This dessert can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator for up to 3-5 days.
