Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 large potatoes, peeled and diced
- 1 cup canned or frozen corn
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix ground beef, chopped onion, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Shape the mixture into patties.
- Cook the patties in a skillet over medium heat until browned and cooked through, about 4-5 minutes per side.
- For the mashed potatoes, peel and boil diced potatoes until tender. Drain, then add butter and milk, mashing until smooth.
- Serve the hamburger steak pieces with a side of mashed potatoes and corn.
Notes
For a cheesy twist, add cheese to the hamburger steak. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days in the refrigerator.
