Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 cups cooked chow mein noodles or ramen noodles
- 1 cup frozen peas and carrots mix
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup oyster sauce
- 1/4 cup beef broth
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1/2 tsp ground ginger
- 1 tbsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water (for thickening)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add onion and garlic to the skillet and sauté until softened, about 3 minutes.
- In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, beef broth, sesame oil, and ground ginger. Pour over the beef mixture.
- Stir in the cornstarch slurry and cook for 2 minutes, or until the sauce thickens slightly.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked chow mein noodles, beef mixture, and frozen peas and carrots. Mix well.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13-inch baking dish. Bake uncovered for 20-25 minutes, or until heated through and slightly crispy on top.
- Garnish with green onions or sesame seeds (optional). Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 2 months. Reheat in the oven or microwave.
