Description

Grilled Parmesan Garlic Oysters are a delicious seafood dish topped with a flavorful garlic and Parmesan mixture, perfect as an appetizer or a light meal.


Ingredients

  • 12 fresh oysters, shucked (on the half shell)
  • 4 tbsp unsalted olive oil, melted
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs (panko or regular)
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  2. In a bowl, combine the melted olive oil, minced garlic, grated Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, parsley, and lemon juice.
  3. Place the shucked oysters on the grill and top each with the Parmesan mixture.
  4. Grill the oysters for about 5-7 minutes, or until the topping is golden and bubbly.
  5. Remove from the grill and serve hot.

Notes

Serve hot with a squeeze of lemon for an extra zing. Leftover oysters can be stored in an airtight container and should be consumed within a day or two.
